If you win, then you can try your hand in making your own homemade laundry soap. I first heard about this 2 years ago and thought that it wouldn't work in cleaning my family's clothes. But wanting to save my family some money, I thought 'what can it hurt'. A friend told me what I needed and the instructions on how to make the laundry soap. Since then, I've found quite a few sites / bloggers who give detail tutorial of the process. I won't do that here but will give you a link to one that I think is great.

My clothes come out clean just as if I used a name brand. The plus side is that it costs like 1 cent per load.
